If you had told me a year ago that I would be living in Denver I would have said you’re crazy. I started this year knowing it would be a mystery. I opened myself up to the possibilities and just stayed along for the ride, and I’m so glad I did.

Which do you choose? Not going to lie, I’m definitely walking on what feels like the “More Difficult” path at the moment. Fair warning: it is true to its name…

#fbf to that time @geronimo_rd and I went on our great #roadtrip2018 adventure! This alpine hike in Sunshine Meadows at 8,000 feet was one of my absolute favorites of the trip. I felt so connected to the nature and wildlife there, meandering through these quiet, narrow trails.

“Namaste quiet for a bit” has been my mood for a while. Mercury’s in Retrograde, aka: that rare time of year where us Geminis think twice about what we say... or, maybe we don’t and we learn hard lessons about using the wrong words or exasperating misunderstandings. So, when I’m feeling into the energy like this, I take breaks.

Woke up this morning reminded of my vision board that I’ve put aside for a few months and hid away (subconscious much?)... but something compelled me to pull it out and review to remind myself of why I’m here. This year and in my life, it’s about joy and living my biggest life. It’s about childlike curiosity and playfulness, mixed with colorful boss lady pantsuits.

This one time in Palm Beach... Winston Churchill turned to me and told me a hilarious joke. We laughed. Sure, in this instance I was essentially having an imaginary conversation with a statue... but what if we think of the statue, our dude Winston, as one of the voices we sit on a bench with every day - in our own heads?

Jonesing deeply for the desert and its silence and solitude... When I was in Joshua Tree, I chose to explore it alone. For me it was the beginning of a very, very long journey inward (one that I’m still on and always will be), venturing into the shadow side.

My dear friend Peachy the cat = me this weekend. Utterly exhausted. After a few weeks of beautiful people, places and grand adventures, my body and spirit finally said, “Can you SLOW THE F DOWN and let me process now?” So I slept. I cried a lot. I danced. I cleaned my house because honoring my physical space keeps me grounded.

Indulging in every ounce of life — offline, without distraction and fully for ourselves — is truly freaking magical 🧘‍♀️. In case you missed it, I signed off of social media for one month. What’s that like? I give it a resounding “fucking AMAZING.”
