Brand Design + Art Direction

This one time, Jordan Catalana and I started a clothing brand called Amateur Person Apparel. Jimmy Kimmel talked about it on television, and held up a picture of the very tee that got us started.

Thanks to NYLON magazine and Mindy Kaling, we got to create a brand that makes people laugh and look cute while doing it.

We were scrappy and directed photo shoots with our friends as models in my tiny, narrow Brooklyn apartment.

We sold some apparel, learned a lot about running a small business, and had fun seeing our creations around town.
