Instructional Design Case Study
Client: Building Bridges for Education
Role: Instructional Designer
Context: Mastering Instructional Design course
Tools Used: ADDIE Model, Action Mapping, Google Slides, Articulate 360 / Storyline
The Problem: Building Bridges for Education (BBE) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving access to education in underserved communities around the world. BBE has been struggling with a serious problem: a decrease in employee retention leading to high employee turnover. Employees who leave the organization cite lack of motivation, low morale and a general feeling of disengagement as reasons for their departure.
The Opportunity: The senior leadership team has committed to improving the culture on the team. Through analysis, we have found that lack of management and people skills largely influence the conditions that result in employee engagement or disengagement, so a training and development program can be a viable solution.
